Water Sports and Activity Holidays in Egypt

Whether you fancy sailing or windsurfing, Egypt offers fantastic conditions for intermediate and advanced sailors. With strong cross / offshore winds and flat water, Soma Bay offers great conditions for those who want to go fast and with 60 Windsurfers and 8-TOPCAT catamarans to choose from you have the right kit to do it. Launching and recovery is onto a large sandy beach and the wind direction makes getting in and out from the beach easy.

Soma Bay and the surrounding area also offers one of the best dive spots in the world and Robinson Club Soma Bay boasts an on site dive school with 70 sets of gear and its own boats and instructors. Nearby dive sites include the Panoramariff, the 7 towers and many other unique locations. Several dive trips run daily at different places and various specialized courses can be booked as required.

At the top of the bay is a Kite School. Although not operated by ROBINSON CLUB SOMA BAY and not part of your inclusive price, there is a free shuttle bus and it is only a 10 minute journey. For more information visit www.7bft-kitehouse.de

ROBINSON CLUB SOMA BAY has its own beach station with safety boat and all sailing kit you will require, including lifejackets, wetsuits and harnesses. Just bring your rash vest and sun-cream!

SAILING LESSONS

The ROBINSON Watersport Learning System builds on the guidelines of the German Association of Windsurfing and water sports schools (VDWS). Beginners courses starting 1-2-times per week, Refresher courses 2 times per week. The water sports stations are open all day, every day offer material and spot admissions and organize trips etc. Our trained teachers on site to advise you.

WINDSURFING LESSONS

DIVING LESSONS

All the usual courses from Open Water Diver Master Diver through to instructor training. The dive boat transfer time to the various dive sites is approximately 10-25 minutes and up to 1.5 hours for full day tours
