The position of Club Colonna makes the most of the predominantly Easterly tradewinds that steadily blow across the island all year round. You simply won't find a better position for sailing! Intermediate to advanced sailors and windsurfers will revel in the open sailing area, and the prevailing conditions. The winds blow cross-shore making the mornings great for beginners, who can sail out and back without having to worry about getting into difficulty. Later in the afternoon it really picks up to a force 3-6 allowing those of you who want to get up some some to really do so. The small sailing harbour also provides good protection from the wind for those coming in to land.
