Sailing Conditions
A superb mix of wind conditions for all. Beginners can enjoy gentle morning breezes, which build to strong cross offshore winds later the day, making Javelin awesome for freestyle windsurfing and high performance sailing. The vast sailing means sailors can enjoy blasting over flat water, or classic bump and jump conditions further out of the bay. With the new Jetty (and bar) being relocated along the beach, it provides a much wider boat launch and return area, making it easy to return to base after a hard days sail.
Dinghy Sailing
With a superb mix of conditions there’s plenty of action to be had for all at Javelin, blast across the inner bay on a brand new Hobie Pacific or take the family out in the RS Vision, there’s plenty of kit to choose from and if you’ve never sailed before you can try it our with our FREE RYA Start Sailing Course, our friendly, RYA qualified instructors will be happy to show you the ropes to get you moving at a pace which suits you. Windsurfing
Javelin is home to our top level kit and windsurf fans will not be disappointed with our range. For beginners we have Starboard Gos and Futuras and for the more advanced we’ve got Starboard Kombats, Flares, Evos and Isonics. Yacht Sailing
The Gulf of Bodrum has a myraid beautiful bays and coves for you to explore. Plunge into glistening waters at the Blue Lagoon and enjoy a refreshing swim, or take a short sail around the point to explore Karaada, the largest in a group of uninhabited islands. Karaada, with stunning steep cliffs that jut into the sea, this spectacular island is also home to an exciting array of bird life. Finally continue on to the Black Island with its beautiful coastline, ashore you’ll find delightful hot springs, that are said to cure everything from nerves to rheumatism!
