Club Perili is situated on the Datca peninsula, which remains a beautiful and unspoilt part of Turkey. A short taxi ride from the Club is the fishing port of Datca, with its authentic shops, bars and waterfront restaurants.

For those with an eye for a bargain, the traditional Turkish market is a great opportunity to pick up that perfect souvenir or take in the aroma from the mixed spices and fruit on sale. If you've always dreamed of owning a Turkish carpet then you'll be spoilt for choice with a good selection of local carpet sellers.

If you’re looking for a day trip away from the Club then there are a few to keep you busy. If history is your thing, then head for Knidos at the western end of the peninsula. Once the most important harbour in the region as the gateway to the Aegean and Mediterranean, it’s now an archaeological gem and features a large amphitheatre amongst other ruins.

For a more varied trip, then take the ferry to the cosmopolitan town of Bodrum. Take a tour of the Crusader Castle, wander the narrow streets in search of that perfect gift or just sit and relax in one of the numerous waterfront restaurants and bars and watch the world go by.
