With gentle cross-shore winds that build throughout the day, Phokaia offers extensive sailing conditions for all levels of sailor and windsurfer. The large enclosed bay is perfect for beginners with few waves to rock the boat, allowing more intermediate sailors to really get to grips with high-speed sailing. More challenging conditions further out make Phokaia the ideal sailing location for those more advanced sailors, which is why we’ve concentrated our high performance race fleet here.

Dinghy Sailing

With a superb mix of conditions there’s plenty of action to be had for all at Phokaia, blast across the inner bay on a brand new Hobie Pacific or take the family out in the RS Vision. Phokaia is our high peformance racing resort so there’s plenty of kit to choose from and races to compete in. If you’ve never sailed before you can try it our with our FREE RYA Start Sailing Course, our friendly, RYA qualified instructors will be happy to show you the ropes to get you moving at a pace which suits you.

Windsurfing

Phokaia is the perfect place to hone your windsurfing skills, with an extensive sailing area you can really get to grips with our fantastic kit. Choose from Starboard Starts and Rios for beginners and Gos, Carves, Futuras and Kombats for the more advanced. And a blast along on the Gemini Tandem is not to be missed.

Yacht Sailing

Taking a yacht out for the day is the perfect way to explore the surrounding area, visiting secluded coves and bays where you take anchor and go for a swim or snorkel.
