Club Vounaki - What you said
I felt we had to write to give you feedback on our return from Vounaki....On arrival at Vounaki Marina our transfer to the yacht and initial settling in was very smooth. The weeks flotilla was a great experience especially for myself and youngest son, who had never done this before. On the Kalamos Flotilla, the lead crew of Tess, Tom and Ben ensured that we all had a great time. We had the only children on flotilla and they were entertained by the lead crew and other guests. Any problems we had with the yacht were soon fixed and in no way detracted from our week. The efficiency of repairs and support from the base was great.
We had a great week, but felt that the main problem was with the transfer day...we all felt that the transition between flotilla to club could be more straight forward with information being either handed or displayed at the marina....
The week we spent at Vounaki has got to be the best we have ever spent. The service given by both the Greek and British staff was exceptional. We were remembered by many of the Greek Staff, which made the holiday even more of a personal experience - you are still an individual and not just a booking ref.
Panagiota and her staff did an exceptional job this week - the resort was nearly at full capacity, but we never felt crowded or had any problems at meal times......The food and service in the restaurant were a credit to Giselle, the Restaurant Mananger, and her staff.....As always the childcare facilities were second to none.....
Beach and Day Yacht staff were again very good and the quality of kit was exceptional. Even though there were many guests there was no waiting for kit on the beach.
...Hopefully our next holiday wil again be with Sunsail (Club/Flotilla) and that the middle Sunday situation is simplified.
