The Races...

Fleet Race - Starting with a coaching session on boat set up and techniques for racing.

Laser 1 Series Races - A series of races throughout the week, with your best 4 results counting towards the final race. The winner for the week will win  A Guru Day coaching at Sail Laser with Phil Goodison – Laser 1 Olympic gold medallist!

Single Hander Race - For individual entrants in a range of single handed boats.

Double Hander Race - For team entrants in a range of double handed boats.

It’s a Knock Out Race - A series of fun / silly races for all abilities – team races on the Laser Fun Boats – guaranteed to be a laugh.

Test Laser - Come and try out the Laser range with the experts – ask questions, test them, challenge them. Also special opportunity to try the NEW Laser Bug launched April 2008. Be one of the first to sail this single hander youth boat.

Match Race - Head to head battle to eliminate contestants until the superior reigns – one on one series of races – several rounds – great opportunity to learn this type of race.

Medal Day Race - All day races with heats, quarter finals, semi finals and an overall final with the main prize being £2000 Laser Cheque.

Youth Race - For the under 18's in the crowd – your opportunity to shine – races to run parallel to the adult Medal Day Races.

PLUS - Coaching Clinics - Clinics throughout the week focusing on different aspects of sailing and the 5 essentials to improve your sailing and more importantly your racing technique.
