Kremik Flotilla 1 Week Sailing Holiday

Overview

The Kremik Flotilla holiday departs from Sunsail’s base on the Croatian mainland, near to the village of Primosten and heads South or North (depending on your week of departure) to cruise the lovely coast of Croatia.

If you are heading South, you will discover the island coastlines of Brac, with its charming fishing villages and superb range of dining places, and Hvar, where you can climb to the top of the island for dinner at a hillside restaurant with an extraordinary panoramic view of the Adriatic.

The North itinerary will lead you to the extraordinary pristine waters of the Kornati National Park. Easy island hopping makes Kremik North flotilla sailing a relaxing experience, with the incredible natural beauty of the sailing area providing the backdrop to superb sailing conditions. This flotilla takes in rustic fishing villages such as Zirje Luka as well as lively towns like Vodice, renowned for its terrific nightlife, and there’s an opportunity to picnic at the foot of the amazing Krka waterfalls.

A Kremik Flotilla holiday has something for everybody, alternating between beautiful, peaceful bays for swimming and relaxing and busy towns like Trogir, with its Venetian fort, plentiful bars and restaurants and excellent shopping, to keep everyone happy.

Sailing in Kremik

Sailing conditions in the area covered by the Kremik Flotilla are suitable for those with some previous sailing experience.

The climate and conditions are ideal for gentle coastal cruising and island hopping.

Summer temperatures range from 23 – 30 C, winds are generally light and variable in the mornings with afternoon breezes and calm nights. Winds range from 5 – 20 knots.  Navigation is line-of-sight.

Lazy lines are in use at many town quays and the tidal range is minimal.

    The Croatian island of Brac is one of the most scenic in the Adriatic. Known for its fabulous beaches, a sailing from Milna Brac gives you the opportunity to explore the coastline and the interior of this beautiful island at your leisure, enjoying swimming and snorkelling in the crystal clear waters that surround it.

  • Palmizana

    A Palmizana boat charter brings you to the island of Hvar and fashionable Hvar Town, where you’ll find plenty of historical interest as well as a lively cafĂ© and restaurant scene. Hvar is the trendiest of the Adriatic resorts after Dubrovnik itself and has good shopping, excellent eating and nightlife that keeps going into the early hours, as well as a more genteel festival of chamber music, if that’s more to your taste.

  • Skradin

    Skradin is within the Krka National Park – an area of outstanding natural beauty with spectacular waterfalls and canyons. A visit here is one the highlights of any sailing holiday in Croatia. Spend a day exploring the pathways of the park and swimming in pools surrounded by cascades of fresh, pristine mountain water before heading back to Skradin for a delicious meal at one of the waterfront restaurants.

    A stop-over at the lovely old town of Trogir is one of the highlights of a sailing holiday in this region. With narrow cobbled streets, ancient buildings, a stunning cathedral and lots of cafes and restaurants, there is plenty to see and a great choice of places to relax in when you’ve had your fill of sight-seeing.
