Ruza 1 Week Flotilla Sailing Holiday

Overview

Each day’s destination is different to the last on a Ruza sailing holiday. You might visit the old palace on the ‘Golden Island’ of Sipan one day and the Roman ruins and Salt Lakes in the enchanting national park of Mijet the next.

Dubrovnik itself is a fascinating walled city – completed in the 13th Century it remains virtually unchanged to this day.

Be sure to stop for a drink at one of the cafes on the Stradun – Dubrovnik’s promenade – and watch the world go by.

Sailing in Ruza

The mild climate, steady winds and crystal clear waters of the Dubrovnik Riviera make Ruza flotilla sailing a real pleasure.  With short island hops and some potential for longer passages, this is a flotilla that is best suited to confident sailors with a reasonable amount of previous sailing experience.

Summer temperatures range from 23 to 30 C (73 - 86 F) and winds generally from 10 to 20 knots (11 - 23 mph), usually north/north-easterly.
