Ruza - NEW BASE for 2008
You could cruise almost 100 nautical miles on this flotilla without even knowing it, the sailing is so good and each day’s destination so different from the last. Head up to ‘the golden island’ of Sipan or the idyllic national park of Mljet. Often referred to as the ‘Jewel of the Adriatic’ Dubrovnik has a remarkable history.
You must go and visit the old town before you start your flotilla from Dubrovnik Marina. The old town was completed in the 13th century and remains virtually unchanged to the present day. Tall ramparts surround it and there are only two entrances to the old town, which lead to the Stradun, the city's promenade. Stop for a drink in one of the nearby cafes and watch the world go by. Enjoy the mild climate and steady winds of the south as you discover impressive towns and sleepy fishing villages. The short island hops make for some interesting sailing and lots to discover in these fascinating and historic waters.
