Sunsail Base, Milina
Arrive Sunsail base after visiting the pretty nearby town of Milina.
Day 2
Amaloupoulis, Gulf of Volos 15miles/ 2hrs
This pretty port is an impressive entrance between St. Nicholas’ Island and the mainland. Punch Party and group meal in town square taverna a leisurely walk away.
Day 3
Pegadi, Gulf of Volos 10miles/ 1-2hrs
Situated on the west side of the Gulf is the hamlet of Pegadi. It is well worth a walk up to the old lookout tower of Achilles for a spectacular view over the Gulf and the Skiathos channel.
Day 4
Koukanaries, Skiathos 20miles/ 3hrs
Known for having one of the best beaches in the Aegean, the pine shaded Koukanaries is a popular spot.
Day 5
Glossa, Skopelos 10miles / 2-3hrs
To the east of Skopelos and with good views of Skiathos, Glossa has many reminders within it of its Venetian occupation thanks to the picturesque remains of the Venetian towers and houses. There is a great beach here and a selection of tavernas. Lutraki (near Glossa) is a seaside village at the harbor.

Patitiri, Alonissos 12miles/ 2-3hrs
A small, pretty harbor with some good tavernas.
Day 8
Steni Vala, Alonissos 3miles/ 1hrs
This is one of the loveliest stops in the cruising area, a typical Greek picture postcard village. Alonnisoss is a nature reserve where you often see monk seals and dolphins at play.
Day 9
Peristiri Island 2miles/ 1hrs
BBQ in a bay at the southern end of the island.

Panormous, Skopelos 7miles/ 1hr
The southwest Skopelos waters are a favorite for dolphins in spring and autumn.
Day 13
Paleo Trikeri, Gulf of Volos 30miles/ 4-5hrs
A small, pretty island with a few tavernas, a dozen houses and a must-do walk up the hill to the old monastery.
Day 14
Sunsail base, Milina 7miles/ 1-2hrs
The last day often includes an organised fun race back to base and a party to say goodbye to this fabulous area.
