Short and easy daily distances and comfortable line-of-sight cruising make the Ionian the number one choice for those who are a little bit rusty on board or just starting out in sailing. The Vounaki Flotilla takes you down to the colorful, crescent shaped harbor of Fiscardo on the north coast of Cephalonia.
One of the most stunning destinations on the Fllotilla is the Island of Cephalonia. The island is famous for its wine, the stunning Lake Mellisani and Drogarati cave, Archaeological findings dating back to 40.000 B.C and also as the location for the film Captain Corelli's Mandolin.
The Flotilla passes two PADI dive centres and also offers good opportunity for snorkelling. The area offers ample opportunity for walks amongst olive groves and the remains of a Venetian church can also be discovered on the headland in Fiscardo.
