Sunsail – Itinerary Maps

Day 1
Sunsail base, Fethiye
The Yacht Plaza Hotel boasts excellent amenities and a short walk into town will find you with plenty of choice for bars and restaurants.

Day 2
Kapi Creek
Great for snorkeling with a very good restaurant ashore. There are a few places to explore from here including Teresane Island where you will find ruins of ancient shipyards.

Day 3
Cold Water Bay 13miles/ 2-3hrs
Visit the ancient deserted village of Kaya Koy from this freshwater spring bay where you swim through warm waters with freezing patches - all good for the health and circulation!

Day 4
Kalkan 31miles/ 5-6hr
Vacation home heaven for the Turks, this is a vision of whitewashed houses around a modern harbor. Narrow, winding streets lined with souvenir shops lead down to the charming marina. Patara’s seven mile long beach is a must-do in this area.

Day 5
Ucagiz 31miles /5-6hrs
Two thousand year old Lycian tombs blend with old and new houses around the village. Off shore the marble ruins of a Roman sunken city shine beneath the clear waters.

Day 8
Kas 19miles/ 3-4hrs
Small pebbled beaches with trips to the Blue Caves from this popular village.

Day 9
Kalkan 14miles/ 2-3hrs
Full day’s sail to this busy Ottoman character harbour. Make time to explore what you missed on Day 4, or the bay is lovely for swimming.

Day 10
Sarsala
A simple, quiet place to pick up lazy lines on the wooden jetty and a lovely spot for swimming.

Day 11
Gocek
Gocek is a town with everything you need and more. A ferry runs across from the base from 8am to midnight every day to the market port with very good restaurants and provisions.

Sunsail Base, Fethiye
Return to base for the farewell party.
