You may not travel with us unless you have holiday insurance either with Sunsail's provider or by arranging a policy yourself providing comparable or greater cover under all sections. Sunsail Flotillas offers travel insurance arranged through Towergate Chase Parkinson Ltd. AXA Insurance UK plc underwrites the scheme.

Health Insurance Warranty

This policy is conditional upon each insured person being in good health at the time of booking. If you are aware of any medical conditions or material facts that may prevent acceptance of your cover it is vital that you inform Towergate Chase Parkinson Ltd on 0870 906 3142.

Policy benefits include:

• Cancellation up to £5,000 per paying passenger (£3,000 on annual policies)
• 14 day cooling off period from sight of policy and full refund if not suitable
• No territorial restrictions in regard to the sailing area or applied to yacht racing
• Free of charge pre-screening medical service and advice prior to departure - call 01932 334198
• International medical rescue cover to include hospitalisation and repatriation

We are also able to offer annual insurance, this includes up to 17 days winter sports cover.

Insurance premiums per person will be added to your invoice as follows:

50% discount for children (aged 2-18) off all adult prices listed.
 
*Insurance includes children up to 18 years of age.
Price includes Government Insurance Premium Tax currently at 17. 5%.

N.B: Infants, under the age of 2 on return from holiday, are insured free of charge when travelling with parents insured under this scheme.


Full details of your cover will be sent to you with your holiday confirmation or on request, but the main benefits per person (to a maximum)are as follows:

• Cancellation - Up to £5000

• Curtailment and Hospital Benefit - £5000
• Luggage & Personal Money - £2000
• Money Limit - £250
• Single Article Limit  - £200

• Loss of Passport - £250
• Personal Liability (onshore only) - £1, 000, 000
• Personal Accident - £15, 000
• Flight Delay - £20 after 12 hrs, £10 after each subsequent 12 hrs (£100 maximum)
• Missed Departure - £500

*In the case of clients living outside the UK, emergency repatriation under our policy will be back to the UK only.

Any flights and accommodation not arranged by Sunsail may be covered by this policy, but please ensure that the duration of the policy is correct and contact Towergate Chase Parkinson Ltd direct for confirmation.

If you are not using our provided insurance cover, Sunsail Flotillas request that you complete, sign and return an Insurance Indemnity form. Please note if you do not insure with Towergate Chase Parkinson it may be more difficult for our staff overseas to assist in cases of emergency.

Foreign nationals seeking to take out our insurance should be aware that their own countries might have restrictive rules preventing them from taking our insurance. Please check this with a local travel agency in your own country.
