Sunsail Events offer a range of options for sailing events to suit the needs of businesses, individuals and groups, looking to participate in Team Building Events, Corporate Sailing and Racing Events.
Sunsail is very proud to announce the launch of ‘Sunsail Racing’ which focuses on making yacht racing accessible to everyone. Our base at Port Solent in the UK, with our brand new matched fleet of 42 identical Sunsail F40s, is home to Sunsail Racing.
The Sunsail F40 has been designed and developed from the Beneteau First 40, which took first and second overall in the IRC Division of the 2009 Rolex Sydney to Hobart Race. In the same year it was awarded Crossover (racer/cruiser) Boat of the Year Award by Sailing World Magazine.
Join in the fun, competitive and exhilarating experience on any of our sailing regattas and events. Our regatta packages are tailored to suit your requirements and include race entry fees, race support, yacht preparation together with pre-race briefing, prize giving and shoreside team support, but we can tailor any event to your specific requirements.
Throughout the year you can join us and be part of the action across the globe. Sunsail Racing allows you to experience thrilling ‘round the cans’ racing (sailing around buoys) and open regattas, to high profile international sailing events. With Sunsail Racing you can take part in one of our very own events such as the Industry Sailing Challenge and Sunsail Series, or join one of the many other events and regattas we take part in. We are also proud to be able to offer our very own racing class at Cowes Week, BVI Spring Regatta and Round the Island Race.
As part of our commitment to enabling both sailors and non sailors to enjoy the water, every level of ability is catered for. You can either take the helm yourself along with your crew or we can provide professional RYA qualified skippers for each yacht. It’s entirely up to you.
