Both Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club and Largs Yacht Club boast conference facilities with water’s edge dining; a stone’s throw away from the fleet. Both conference facilities are available for half day, full day and evening hire and include:
  • Facilities for guests in either theatre, boardroom, classroom or u-shaped style
  • Air-conditioning
  • Impressive windows with panoramic views across the marina that can easily be darkened with blackout blinds for presentations
  • Option to hire meeting equipment ranging from overhead projectors, TV and videos to LCD projectors and PA systems
We can also organise off site facilities for both conference and dining events. For a different dining experience why not let us book a historical war ship or medieval castle for your evening? We also have good links with local accommodation to complete your event package, brought together perfectly for you by our experienced Events Team.

In Port Solent, Sunsail’s welcoming dining experience brings you mouth-watering menus, extensive wine cellars and first class service with boardwalk barbecues available for Summer events.


Sample one day conference and sailing programme

0830 hrs    welcome reception with morning coffee in Yacht Club
0900 hrs    conference commences in the Regatta room
1030 hrs    mid morning refreshments
1200 hrs    conference finishes. Two course sit down lunch in Yacht Club
1300 hrs    introduction to Sunsail Skippers and yacht. Climb aboard and cast of for practice sail
1500 hrs    fun race begins – Skippers helm over the start line then it's over to you! Everyone has the chance to put into practice their newly acquired skills
1645 hrs    return to shore for prize giving and afternoon tea in Yacht Club
1730 hrs    guests depart at leisure

Inclusive of:
  • morning hire of Regatta room until 1200 hours in Yacht Club overlooking the marina.
  • use of overhead projector and screen, two flip charts, paper and marker pens, free use of telephone and internet connections, notepads and pens, adjustable lighting.
  • hire of one of our identically matched fleet of Sunfast 37 yachts, Sunsail Skipper and wet weather gear
  • soft drinks pack on board comprising of tea, coffee, water, colas, lemonade and orange juice
