How will we provide you with the event you are after? Sailing naturally provides an excellent platform for creating a great sense of togetherness, motivation and commitment.  Quality time spent on the water in the fresh, open air is something that won't be forgotten by anyone - whatever the weather!  Sailing brings out your true colours and character.  It's about team spirit and teamwork, but overall, it's about having fun!

Here are a couple of suggested programmes to give you an idea of what we can put together.  However, we tailor make each event to suit our clients requirements so please contact us to disucss your bespoke event.


ONE DAY SAILING PROGRAME
This is an active and exciting experience suitable for complete beginners or those with experience and everyone can participate as much or as little as they wish.


Sample Day Package

0830 hrs    Arrive at Port Solent for tea, coffee and bacon rolls in Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club (PHYC) overlooking Port Solent marina.
0900 hrs    Guests will be greeted by a Sunsail representative and introduced to your Sunsail skippers.
0930 hrs    Stow kit onboard yachts. Safety brief and yacht familiarisation.  Depart for morning sail in the Solent.
1230 hrs    Anchor off Isle of Wight shore for a buffet lunch and soft drinks onboard yachts. An alcohol pack comprising of champagne, wine and beer can be provided at an additional cost.
1400 hrs    Fun race begins – Sunsail skippers will helm over the start line – then it can be over to you!  Crews can put to the test their newly acquired skills.
1630 hrs    Return the boat to Port Solent and hand over yachts.
1700 hrs    Afternoon tea and cake served in Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club.
1730 hrs    Guests depart at leisure.

Inclusive of:
  • Hire of one of our identically matched fleet of Sunfast 37, Sunsail skipper and wet weather gear
  • Tea, coffee and bacon rolls on arrival in the Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club
  • Two course buffet lunch onboard
  • Soft drinks pack onboard comprising of tea, coffee, water, colas, lemonade and orange juice
  • Tea and cake reception on return to Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club
  • All pre-event and on-site management

OVERNIGHT SAILING PROGRAMME


Sample Overnight Package

Day one, evening
1900 hrs     Arrive at Port Solent; meet your Sunsail skippers and stow kit onboard yachts, safety briefing
2030 hrs     Dinner at the Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club overlooking Port Solent marina, guests sleep on board yacht overnight

Day two
0800 hrs    Regatta breakfast in the Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club
0900 hrs    Return to yachts and depart for practice sailing in the Solent
1100 hrs    Optional Morning Race
1230 hrs    Buffet Lunch and soft drinks on board yachts whilst sailing or at anchor An alcohol pack comprising of champagne, wine and beer can be provided at an additional cost
1400 hrs    Fun race begins, providing a chance to test your newly acquired skills
1630 hrs    Return to Port Solent and depart yachts
1700 hrs    Afternoon tea and cake served in Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club, Prizes for a prize giving reception can be provided for an additional cost
1730 hrs    Depart at leisure

  • Wet weather gear provided for all guests
  • Three course dinner in the Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club with a waterside location
  • Overnight accommodation on board yacht
