Cowes Week brings the worlds biggest sailing stars and excitement to competitors and spectators alike and with over 1,000 yachts and 8,000 competitors taking part in some top-class sailing. 2011 will be no exception and this will also be the first year participants in our racing class in this prestigious event will be racing our brand new matched fleet of Sunsail F40's.

Duncan Craig, Deputy Travel Editor at the Daily Express said of Cowes Week, “I challenge anyone to join Sunsail on one of their splendidly absorbing Cowes Week racing packages and not to come away utterly converted to life on the ocean wave. For the novice sailor particularly, this is an in-at-the-deep-end experience with a night on board a Sunfast 37 yacht and a hands-on role in racing one of the very same boats in an official Cowes Week race."

"You’ll be immersed in the world of competitive sailing, with its fair-play ethos, trademark attire and amusingly impenetrable jargon, but guided every step of the way by one of Sunsail’s remarkably patient, proficient and good-humoured skippers. Ours somehow managed to instruct, cajole and galvanise a crew with almost zero experience to an exhilarating top 10 finish, each individual revelling in their specialist role, from taking the helm to manning the mainsail.”
