Industry Sailing Challenge

Mix business with pleasure and push your company forward!
With over 40 teams expected in 2010, the ISC has become one of the world's largest one-design corporate yachting events
Race to win!!
Following the success of the new format in 2008, we are keeping the racing programme the same as last year so will include some ‘round the cans’ racing as well as a double circumnavigation of the Isle of Wight.
The racing will start from the Portsmouth Harbour Yacht Club, Port Solent, crews of six including a skipper will take part in a 24-hour challenge race of twice round the Island. After this the crews will berth at Gunwharf Quays before a lively day of round the cans racing in the Solent. This format will give every team the chance to steal some additional points!
As well as the triumph of claiming the 2010 title, there are some fantastic Sunsail prizes on offer, including a Sunsail Mediterranean beach club holiday for each member of the winning team.
Not only is the ISC a unique teambuilding experience, but it’s great for networking too. Without realising it your ISC crew will be learning and practicing skills that they can carry from the ocean to the office!
Who can enter the ISC?
The event is open to all business, industry and professional bodies. All members of your crew including skipper (unless a Sunsail Skipper) must have a commercial connection with the company at the time of the event. We do not accept individual or club entries. Entrants must compete on the yacht as it is equipped and provided by the event organisers.
Skipper requirements
Your skipper* must be qualified to RYA Coastal Skipper level and one other member of the crew must be RYA Competent Crew qualified. A Sunsail Skipper can be provided for an additional fee of £200 + vat per day. The ISC is not intended for professional yachtsmen, therefore you should not enter a skipper or crew member who has raced professionally.
*Security deposits are required for own skipper entries. Please see Charter Agreement for full details.
Enhance your entry - become a sponsor
Create a lasting impression on the Solent as well as in the business arena by becoming the prestigious Title Sponsor.
