In the Southern Ionian our marina and dedicated Sunsail Beach Club are nestled at the base of the Arkanika mountains. Vounaki is our ‘one stop shop’ offering Yacht Charter, Flotilla, Sailing School and Beach Club all in the same location. 

The great sailing conditions and easy line of sight hops make this an ever popular destination for sailors still perfecting their manoeuvres, and a great place for learning to sail. Combine this with an ever changing coastline, picturesque villages and delicious, freshly prepared cuisine; this destination is a firm favourite for your course whatever your level. 
 
The gentle morning breeze combined with the windy afternoons makes this a great place for beginners, intermediates & advanced to progress quickly. You will experience some stunning stops and beautiful islands, while the warm Mediterranean sunshine keeps you wondering why you took so long to learn to sail!
 
Unlike our other overseas destinations, Vounaki offers a wide range of sailing courses. In addition to RYA Competent Crew and Day Skipper courses, you can complete your ICC qualification and Flotilla/Holiday Training Course, as well as your One Day Rusty Skipper, if you haven’t been out on the water for a while.
 
The facilities in Vounaki allow you to improve your sailing skills at the sailing school whilst other members of your group stay ashore and enjoy the club facilities. Vounaki has consistent sailing conditions, is non-tidal and has a climate that you will love. Set in the heart of the Ionian, it is also one of the most beautiful sailing areas in the Med.
