Improving

Once you have reached Day Skipper standard, you are now classed as intermediate level. The Day Skipper certificate will allow you to take your own yacht on charter to many of our breathtaking sailing destinations around the globe. you can also join one of Sunsail's growing number of Flotillas across the world.

With theory, preparation and practical courses available, we have everything you need to get you to where you want to be. Sunsail will guide you through every stage and help you to gain your qualification with confidence.

All Sunsail’s instructors are fully RYA qualified and are selected for their expertise and enthusiasm. Our highly acclaimed teaching programme combined with our friendly fun attitude, builds confidence on and off the water. As well as practical sessions afloat, you will get to grips with theory during classroom coaching. Safety is our number one priority at all times.

Our World is your Oyster
Once you are qualified to Day Skipper standard, exciting times await. You can now skipper your own yacht with your friends and family by your side, as you set sail almost anywhere in the world. We have destinations suitable for both novices and seasoned sailors alike, from historical cities and delicious cuisine in the Mediterranean to the breathtaking scenery and warm breezes in the Caribbean and Bahamas, or the crystal clear waters and tropical marine life in our exotic destinations. You will be sure to find something to suit.

MileCatchers
Sunsail run a number of selected MileCatcher opportunities to help you to build your confidence as a sailor as well as adding you sea miles. They will give you the chance to experience a variety of weather conditions and night sailing over early, late and out of season dates.
