Sunsail One Day Taster
The perfect way to start out sailing, this one day taster course has been created by Sunsail to help any novice gain some confidence and familiarise yourself with yachts and basic sailing techniques. At the end of the day you will have had a good taste of the freedom and excitement to follow if you decide to take it further.
These days are excellent as an introduction to sailing without the pressures of completing a certification course. There is no set syllabus for the One Day Taster, but your skipper will take you through the basics of sailing. Certain routines will be covered and the skipper will teach you as much or as little as you require.
Ability after course
Basic understanding of sailing including putting up the sails, using the engine, point of sail and manoeuvring, anchoring and general safety.
