If you are about to travel and are concerned that your forthcoming holiday will be affected by adverse weather conditions then please read this important advice and information.
If you have a booked a flight inclusive package:
As part of TUI, if you have booked a package holiday with a yacht and flights included and have confirmed through Sunsail, then we can offer you two options in the event that your flights are cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances:
Alternative departure date
In the event that your flight is cancelled and you have booked flight inclusive package, we will offer you an alternative holiday option, subject to availability. If the value of your alternative holiday option is less than your original holiday cost then we will refund the difference, and if the cost is higher than your original holiday cost we will honour the difference.
In the event that your holiday has to be cancelled, and you have booked a flight inclusive package with us, and we are unable to offer an alternative holiday to suit then we will offer you a full refund of the cost of your holiday.
If you have a booked a boat only, and have arranged your own flights:
As part of TUI, if you have booked your yacht through Sunsail having arranged your flights through a third party then we are not obliged to assist you however, as a gesture of goodwill we will be happy to re-arrange an alternative departure date or destination of travel without an amendment charge. If the value of your revised boat price and departure date is less than the original cost then we are not obliged to refund the difference, and if the value of your revised cost is higher then you will be required to pay the difference. However, we are not able to offer you a full refund in this instance.
What do in the event of adverse weather conditions:
Please liaise directly with the appropriate airline to ascertain if your flight will be affected. The best way to do this is to visit their website which will have the latest information and instructions.
Please follow any instructions or guidance given by the airline.
Should your flight be delayed or cancelled please work with the airline to reschedule as soon as possible and Sunsail Team will do everything they can to assist you in re-planning your holiday as per the above guidelines.
