Owner Use Privileges
Owning a yacht in the partnership programme will give you the freedom to explore some of the world's favourite sailing destinations. You can choose to sail your own yacht or, at no additional cost, use an equivalent model from a base elsewhere in the world. Some of our owners like to use their own yacht for every holiday; others use their owner use points to experience Sunsail’s many different cruising grounds. By taking advantage of your allocated points, you can explore the globe with up to 12 weeks sailing each year. If you desire, for a small fee, our programme allows the flexibility to upgrade to a larger size yacht.Holiday costs
Whether you use your own yacht or an equivalent model, your sailing time is free*. You simply need to cover the costs of travel to your chosen destination and any local cruising permits. Our normal brochure extras such as fuel, provisioning and one-way fees will also apply. The Yacht Damage Waiver (YDW) is payable at your option.*As an owner you are subject to a small turnaround fee.
Your travel arrangements
Many of our owners take advantage of Sunsail’s allocated charter flights and transfers, we can also assist you in arranging flights to our ‘faraway’ sailing areas. You are of course free to make your own travel arrangements should you wish.On purchasing your yacht you will be assigned your Owner Care representative to advise you of your available benefits and assist you in reserving your holidays.
