Owner Use Privileges

Owning a yacht in the Yacht Partnership fleet means you need never cover the same ground twice. You can choose to sail your own yacht or, at no additional cost, use an equivalent model from a base elsewhere in the world. Some of our owners like to return to their own yacht every holiday; others use their benefits to experience Sunsail’s many different cruising grounds. By taking advantage of your 12 points and short notice weeks, you can explore the globe with up to 10 weeks sailing each year.

Holiday costs

Whether you use your own yacht or an equivalent, your sailing time is free. You simply need to cover the costs of travel to your chosen destination and any local cruising permits. Our normal brochure extras such as fuel, provisioning and one-way fees will also apply. The Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is payable at your option.

Your travel arrangements

Many of our owners take advantage of Sunsail’s charter flights and transfers to our main destinations and ask us to find flights to our ‘faraway ’sailing areas. You are of course free to make your own travel arrangements should you wish.

On purchasing your yacht you will be assigned your Owner Care representative to advise you of your available benefits and assist you in reserving your holidays.
