**NEW BASE IN THE ABACOS - BAHAMAS**

Opens February 2008 – Sunsail’s new base located at Marsh Harbor

Slip into island time as you hop among the Abacos archipelago. A favorite with sailors for many years; the sheltered sailing, sandy beaches and inviting waters make the Bahamas a must for 2008.

Sunsail’s new base is located at Marsh Harbor, the center of the Abacos, and is perfectly placed to explore the surrounding hot spots. Head straight over to Hope Town, home to the famous striped lighthouse and enjoy a cocktail as you watch the sun set over Elbow Cay, also a great spot to snorkel. Great Guana Cay to the north is another stunning snorkeling spot not to be missed.

If your interested in history, New Plymouth on Green Turtle Cay is a New-England style village with pastel clad board homes, a museum and sculpture gardens. Explore the islands to the north of the base and be sure to stop off at Treasure Cay - one of the National Geofraphic top 10 beaches.

Heading south from Marsh Harbour, Pelican Cays National Park is a spectacular stop off. Home to an underwater adventure, it’s one of the most popular snorkeling and dive spots in the area. Sandy Cay Island is featured as the backdrop to ‘Gilligan’s Island’ and is ideal for a peaceful picnic. Once you’ve sailed the Abacos you’ll understand why these islands just off the coast of Florida are loved by sailors the world over.
