Moorings
Mooring buoys are only designed for small speedboats so all stops must be at anchor. There is a cruising tax charge of 200 Baht per person per day when entering Thailand's national parks.
The best sailing is in the deep waters of the Inner Channel and Victoria Channel. Trade winds are usually fairly consistent out of an easterly direction. Tidal range is minimal, being about 18" at springs.
