The Sunsail 49i enjoys the sleek profile long associated with the Sun Odyssey line. The new 49i benefits from both Jeanneau's resin-injection manufacturing process and modern Italian interior decor. It's topped off with a rig of moderate proportions that uses a short-overlap genoa for upwind power. The twin helm cockpit is very spacious with a large folding cockpit table and hatches bringing light and air into the aft cabins. Below decks, the four-stateroom layout is roomy, with a proliferation of heads—one for each cabin. The commodious saloon and port-side in-line galley make life aboard a pleasure.
