From global ocean and coastline clean ups, to recycling schemes in Lefkas and protecting the Ionian Dolphins and Monk Seals in Greece and Croatia, find out more about our sustainability projects below.

Our Charities

Ionian Dolphin Project

Protecting the Ionian Dolphins in Greece and Croatia, reporting viewings and sharing watching guidelines to minimise disturbance to their natural habitat.

Save The Med

Educating customers and supporting local projects to conserve marine life in the Balearics.

Recycling in Lefkas

Creating a recycling infrastructure, raising awareness and encouraging active involvement amongst island inhabitants in the importance of recycling.

Beach, Reef & Marina Clean Ups

Across our Sunsail bases, the teams regularly run beach and reef clean ups. We’re also installing seabins to clean water in our marinas and partnering with global organisations to maximise our environmental impact at a global scale.

Blue Flag Beaches & Marinas

We’re proud many of our bases have a blue flag award, with our marinas and beaches meeting industry leading standards for cleanliness and sustainability.

Re-seeding Coral Reefs in Belize

Providing yachts and supporting the Fragments of Hope team of researchers to reseed devastated reefs and protect the marine ecosystem in Belize.

Yachting Gives Back

Helping tackle poverty in the Balearics by donating food left on board.

Ban on Plastic! The Final Straw

Teaming up with The Final Straw, to encourage a ban on plastic straws, and joining the plastic free day targeting over 57,000 school children, educating them in making eco-friendly choices.

Removing plastic from the oceans

Supporting 4ocean’s ocean clean-ups. You can buy a lovely bracelet made from recycled materials from the ocean and all money goes to ocean and coastline clean ups around the world.
