COVID-19 Travel Restrictions in Antigua

Welcome to Sunsail's marina in Anitgua. While Anitgua is opening its borders for international travelers, certain Policies and Procedures will need to be followed when entering the country, before, and during your stay there.

Please note:
Starting January 26, 2021, the U.S. Government will require all travelers coming from international countries - including U.S. citizens - to present negative test results within 3 days of departure aboard a flight. Antibody tests and vaccines are not accepted.
 
Upon your arrival at the airport, please state your intended destination is Antigua Charter Services, NOT Moorings. We are recognized as Antigua Charter Services.

A curfew is in effect on the island of Antigua. Curfew hours are from 6pm-5am. 
Beaches are open on weekdays and weekends between the hours of 6a.m. and 6p.m. during the current curfew period. All bars are closed. Restaurants are only allowed to give take out.

Social gatherings are limited to 5 persons.

Guest List

In preparation for your arrival, we ask that you fill out the Guest List with a list of all of the passengers on your yacht including yourself. Please submit this form at least 30 days prior to departure.

Watch Charter Briefings

We require all guests to watch a charter safety video. The captain and first mate must become familiar with the sailing area by watching a chart briefing. Please watch these briefing videos in the comfort of your own home or office before you are scheduled to depart.

Pre-Arrival COVID Testing

All travelers  must present a COVID-19 RT-PCR Negative (Swab) Test  taken within 7  days prior to arrival.

Children below the age of 12 years, entering Antigua, do not require a COVID -19 RT-PCR test.

COVID-19 Testing

There is a testing facility at Mount St John's Medical Center, which is approximately 45 mins to 1 hour by car or taxi. To schedule an appointment in advance of your trip, please complete this form. The cost of the test is $200 USD.
