COVID-19 Travel Restrictions in Grenada

We would also advise that you contact your airline for the most up to date information around entry requirements and re-entry to your home country.

While Grenada is opening its borders for international travellers, certain Policies and Procedures will need to be followed when entering the country, before, and during your stay there.
Before You Go
Fully Vaccinated Travellers:
- Travellers who are fully vaccinated (WHO-approved vaccination) and show a negative Covid-19 PCR test (within 3 days of travel) do not need to quarantine on arrival
- Travellers over the age of 5 must show a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken within 3 days of arrival in Grenada
- Travellers will now be required to fill out a Health Declaration Form
Unvaccinated Travellers:
- Travellers who are not fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus will be denied entry into Grenada by immigration officers
- Submit your full guest list in advance of travel to us via the manage my booking link
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance
When You Arrive
- Fully vaccinated travellers are required to present their original vaccination card as proof of vaccination and the negative PCR test upon arrival in Grenada
- You will be required to undergo health screening on arrival to Grenada, including temperature checks
- You must wear a face mask in public places
During Your Charter
One Way Charters:
- One way charters from St.Lucia to Grenada are now possible. No testing is required when you reach Grenada but a PCR test is needed leaving St Vincent 72 hours prior to entering Carriacou/ Grenada - this can be done in Union Island.
- The yacht must be registered on Sail Clear & the entry to Grenada is via this portal. Clients HAVE to be vaccinated & have a negative PCR test result either in electronic format or old fashioned paper copy.
- The port of entry in Carriacou is Tyrol Bay , same place as customs & immigration.
- If a traveller tests positive during their one way from St. Lucia to Grenada, then the base will send a skipper to sail the customers yacht back to St.Lucia, and the customers will be taken to a quarantine hotel from the dock. If the traveller tests positive in Union Island, they will be taken to a quarantine hotel there and the yacht will be returned to St. Lucia by one of the skippers. Customers will be liable for the costs incurred.
- If travellers wish to visit St Vincent and the Grenadines, this form needs to be filled out and submitted to SVG ARRIVALS at [email protected], as well as the vaccination cards, passport copy, PDF of proof of vaccination and PCR test taken no more than 72 hours after test HAS to be sent through. A PCR test will have to be done before leaving for St Vincent from St Lucia. There is a doctor on call to administer the PCR test who can expedite the result the next day, the cost is $150 per person, please book in advance or upon arrival at the base. A PCR test is needed to get back into St Lucia or Grenada and these tests can be done in Bequia, Young Island, Canouan and Union Island. Other relevant information:
- Nightly curfew from 12am – 4am
- Beaches can be accessed between 4:00 am and 4:00 pm daily
- Dine-in services will resume for fully vaccinated persons only
- You can now travel between Grenada to Carriacou or Petit Martinique
- If travelling to Saint Vincent from Grenada, you will need to get another PCR test and quarantine on the yacht for 2 days upon arrival.

Covid-19 Testing Centres in Grenada
- St. Augustine Medical Services.
- For a PCR test, the cost is currently $167 USD. An appointment has to be made 2 to 3 days in advance. The test is usually taken early in the morning and the results are available by email usually later that same day, if not the following morning.
- Rapid testing is available in a few clinics with a same day appointment and the cost is $100 USD.
