Through the summer holiday this year, we’re offering the chance to enjoy 5 days on the water with a sociable flotilla trip to enjoy the Solent, with a lead flotilla yacht and crew to guide you. A fantastic and unique way to see Cowes, this mini cruise will see you sail in company and embark on a tour of some of the most famous destinations of the Solent. Guided by your lead flotilla yacht and crew, soak in the beautiful scenery in our impressive fleet.

Arrive at Port Solent Marina the night before to collect your yacht, receive handover from Sunsail base staff and be introduced to the other members of the flotilla party. Following an overnight stay at the marina on board your yacht, the group will set sail in the morning to Yarmouth. In the evening there is also a G&T party with Ophir Gin, the UK’s number one premium spiced gin brand, on board the lead boat.

Following the daily yacht briefing held by the lead crew, the party will set sail to the coastal town of Poole, known for its large natural harbour and sandy beaches. The Old Town has Georgian houses and a local Museum, which explores the towns history in 4 buildings. In the evening, take part in an optional wine and cheese tasting evening on board the lead boat or go and explore the local restaurants nearby.

Following an overnight stay on board your yacht, the group will meet for the daily yacht briefing held by the lead crew before setting sail to Lymington. This will be followed by the party heading further up the River where we will meet at a local pub.

Following the daily yacht briefing held by the lead crew, the party will set sail to the number one destination for sailors during the summer months. With a wealth of history and culture, including museums, churches and royal houses to the birthplace of the hovercraft, Cowes and East Cowes have an extensive amount of history to explore. You wont be disappointed.
