Matched yacht racing The Solent
With the historical city of Portsmouth providing a spectacular back drop, you and your crew will get a true taste of sailing in the Sunsail Match First 40 yachts. You'll meet at Gunwharf Quays, crews will meet their professional skipper and mate on board, and after a morning of practice, teams will pit their wits against the rest of the fleet.
Breakfast and lunch are both served on board and you'll enjoy three races throughout the day. If you have a competitive spirit, you'll enjoy expert tips from the skipper and mate before taking part in tactical battles. Or sit back and take it easy, basking in the excellent views of the Isle of Wight, the historic forts situated off Portsmouth and the town’s historical waterfront.
After an amazing day on the water, teams are invited to the fabulous, historical and nautical setting of the old battleship HMS Warrior for dinner and drinks. Following a three-course dinner, there will be a charity prize auction and, most importantly, the prize giving.
Please contact Alex at Sunsail to book your team’s place in this incredible event.
