Sunsail have joined forces with UKSA and are delighted to offer exclusive individual race packages at The Rolex Fastnet Race in 2017.
It only comes round once every other year, and is renowned as one of the yachting calendar's most exhilarating and challenging races. The Rolex Fastnet Race 2017 is almost upon us, and the limited remaining spaces are filling up fast. The Royal Ocean Racing Club's (RORC) most famous race takes place over a 609-nautical-mile course from Cowes on the Isle of Wight towards the Fastnet Rock, off southwest Ireland, before rounding the rock and heading back for the finish line in Plymouth Sound. This race boasts a very rich history, and requires every ounce of each team member's energy and commitment. When was the last time you really pushed yourself?
Includes
• A training weekend in April 2017 on either 8th & 9th or 22nd & 23rd
• Two RORC races on the two May bank holiday weekends – Cervantes Trophy, first bank holiday weekend and then Myth of Malham on the late bank holiday weekend
• A RORC race in July – Cowes-Dinard-St Malo Race, 2nd weekend of July
• Rolex Fastnet race itself, starting on the Sunday 6th August 2017
In addition, entrants will get a team technical top and jacket.
The package price is £2,000 + VAT (£2400 inc. VAT) per person. Additionally, entrants must commit to raising £1,500 to support UKSA.
