2014

See the Round the Island 2014 results for the Sunsail Match First 40 Class

Round the Island race this year was a lovely warm summers day but unfortunately, this didn't make great sailing weather as there was absolutely no wind.  Out of 1584 entries in total, there was a huge 788 boats that retired. In our Sunsail class however, they mostly managed it, with only 2 boats retiring half way - a good effort! There were no records broken this year, our 1st position boat managed a time of 11hrs10mins39secs, but overall a great day was had sunbathing round the back of the island.
