Heineken Regatta

Heineken Regatta

Taking place since 1980, the legendary St. Maarten Heineken Regatta is four days of world-class racing in idyllic conditions, where you can enjoy trade winds coming from the Northeast, an average temperature of 25°C. The regatta’s race committees provide custom-tailored racing for the thousands of sailors from more than 35 countries that come to race. Courses will take participants along coastal races, as well as around the island, presenting the beautiful beaches, rock formations and other scenery. On shore participants and visitors will be able to enjoy the culture, cuisine, and music from both the Dutch and French side. To stay true to tradition, the event ends with an award ceremony, followed by extraordinary festivities on Kim Sha’s Beach.

Antigua Sailing Week

Regatta

Antigua Sailing Week is a yacht regatta held at Nelson's Dockyard, St. Johns, and is one of Antigua's most notable events. Founded in 1967, it is cited as one of the top regattas in the world and attracts an average 100 - 200 yachts, 1500 participants and 5000 spectators on average annually. Antigua Sailing Week is a Caribbean Sailing Association event and comprises five days of competitive racing beginning on the Sunday. Racing takes place for approximately 3-4 hours per day and is run out of English and Falmouth harbours on the south coast of Antigua, while the awards ceremony takes place at Nelsons Dockyard.

Phuket Kings Cup

Renowned as the greatest regatta in Asia, Phuket Kings Cup started in 1987 to celebrate the late King Bhumibol's and is often held annually during the month of December for a week. This international event attracts yachts people from all over the world to the waters of Kata Beach, off the islands west coast. Enjoy a week full of exhilarating racing, spectacular sailing, parties and a buzzing atmosphere.

Tahiti Pearl Regatta

If you’re in need of an excuse for a Tahiti sailing escape, you’ve found it! The four-day Tahiti Pearl Regatta attracts an average of 30 yachts, both local and international, racing in and out of the numerous islands and lagoons dotted around this stunning and varied sailing area. The racing in the day is complemented by evening entertainment on the islands, with Polynesian food, music, and dancing adding to the overall experience. The Tahiti Pearl Regatta is concluded with a prize giving ceremony, followed by a spectacular ritual fire dance.
