Sunsail one-day taster course
Low season (1st November-31st March) - £109 per person
High season (1st April- 31st October)- £129 per person
Sunsail’s one-day taster course is the ideal introduction for anyone interested in learning to sail. It’s the perfect way to get a handle on the basics and enable students to decide whether they are interested in taking things further.
You'll familiarise yourself with the yacht and basic sailing techniques, such as hoisting the sails, using the engine, points of sail, manoeuvring, anchoring and general on board safety. There is no set syllabus for the Sunsail one-day taster, which allows for a flexible teaching approach.
The one-day taster course is a great opportunity to experience sailing for the first time and find out if you'd like to take your interest further.

By the end of the course you'll have tasted the freedom and excitement sailing can provide, allowing you to decide whether you want to take your interest further.
There is no set syllabus for the one-day taster, however your skipper will guide you through the basics of sailing and ensure that everyone is given the chance to take part.
Ages 8+ on family course (under 13s must provide own life jacket), 13+ on adult courses if accompanied by an adult (mark the event box when booking).
